It’s Open Enrollment for WVU employees!
Open Enrollment is the only time of the year to add, drop or make changes to some WVU employee benefits without a qualifying life event (QLE). Open Enrollment is happening now through May 15, 2025, and changes made during Open Enrollment are effective on July 1.
This is a changes-only enrollment, meaning if you do not wish to make changes to your benefits, you are not required to do anything further.
To learn more about Open Enrollment, benefit options, and changes for the new plan year, visit the WVU Benefits Strategy Open Enrollment webpage. Contact WVU Shared Services at SharedServices@mail.wvu.edu or 304-293-6006 with questions, or visit in person for a video chat option at one of the Shared Services Storefronts.
Note that The Health Plan health insurance plan options include coverage for medically necessary gender affirming care. Limitations and prior-authorization apply. Please contact The Health Plan at 888-847-7902 with questions regarding this policy.
