TWO Steps:
1. Go to login.wvu.edu, and select "Manage Account." Input your true name here. Once approved, true names will be distributed automatically to systems technically capable of accepting them, including: Banner/STAR; eCampus/Blackboard; MIX/Google Workspace; Microsoft 365; directory.wvu.edu; and CS Gold, the software behind the WVU ID card. This entire process takes about one business day and will change the display name on your email but won't change your email address.
2. WVU students may request a free one-time replacement card. Email the WVU LGBTQ+ Center with your legal first name, legal last name, true name and student ID number.
